
Jigsaw has been mandated to hire for one of the fastest-growing AI-led technology transformation firms, looking to onboard a Principal Manager / Legal Counsel - Global Contracts, Compliance & Corporate Governance to lead legal operations, commercial contracting, statutory compliance, and governance across its global entities.
What you'll be doing:
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle of MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, LOIs, vendor agreements, and other commercial contracts across multiple geographies.
- Draft, review, negotiate, and govern client and vendor contracts while mitigating legal and commercial risks.
- Manage contract repositories, renewal timelines, obligations, audit trails, version controls, and compliance tracking.
- Oversee statutory compliance across India and global entities, including the US, UAE, Saudi Arabia, UK, Singapore, and Eastern Europe.
- Ensure timely regulatory filings, license renewals, corporate registrations, and governance documentation across jurisdictions.
- Lead statutory, legal, contractual, financial, and operational audits while maintaining audit-ready documentation.
- Manage corporate policies, insurance programs, board resolutions, powers of attorney, and governance frameworks.
- Oversee employee-related legal matters including employment contracts, grievance management, disciplinary processes, and compliance with local labor regulations.
- Build governance dashboards, compliance trackers, contract monitoring systems, and audit readiness frameworks.
- Partner closely with leadership teams to drive governance reviews, risk management, and compliance excellence globally.
What we're looking for:
- LLB / LLM or equivalent Law degree.
- 10-12 years of experience in Legal, Compliance, Corporate Governance, or Contracts Management roles.
- Strong experience working with IT Services, Technology, Consulting, SaaS, or global services organizations.
- Deep expertise in commercial contracting, legal operations, corporate governance, compliance management, and audit processes.
- Proven experience handling multi-country compliance structures and global entity governance.
- Strong contract drafting, negotiation, stakeholder management, and risk assessment skills.
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment while partnering with senior leadership.
- Exceptional attention to detail, documentation discipline, and operational execution capabilities.
