About the Opportunity:

We are hiring an experienced Gastroenterologist with expertise in ERCP procedures for a reputed multi-speciality healthcare institution in Agartala. This opportunity is ideal for a specialist who possesses strong clinical knowledge and hands-on experience in managing disorders related to the digestive system, liver, pancreas, and biliary tract.

The selected candidate will play a critical role in providing advanced gastroenterology care, performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and ensuring excellent patient outcomes through evidence-based treatment approaches.

Key Responsibilities:

- Diagnose and treat disorders related to the esophagus, stomach, intestines, liver, pancreas, gallbladder, and biliary system.

- Independently perform ERCP procedures for both diagnostic and therapeutic indications.

- Conduct endoscopy, colonoscopy, polypectomy, and other GI procedures as required.

- Manage OPD consultations, inpatient admissions, and emergency GI cases.

- Handle gastrointestinal bleeding, liver disease, pancreatitis, jaundice, inflammatory bowel disease, and chronic GI disorders.

- Coordinate with surgeons, radiologists, oncologists, intensivists, and internal medicine teams for multidisciplinary treatment.

- Monitor patients before and after procedures and ensure proper follow-up care.

- Maintain complete patient records, procedure notes, and discharge documentation.

- Adhere to hospital quality standards, infection control protocols, and ethical medical practices.

Required Qualifications:

- DRNB / DM

- Valid medical registration with relevant medical council.
