Position: Zonal Head - Sales


Role Overview


The Zonal Head will lead the overall sales and business operations for Xiaomi across the assigned state, driving revenue growth, market expansion, and operational excellence. This senior leadership role requires strategic acumen, strong team leadership, and a deep understanding of channel dynamics, distribution, and retail operations.


Key Responsibilities


- Own and deliver the zonal P&L, driving topline growth and market share across the state.


- Develop and execute strategic sales, distribution, and retail initiatives to achieve business objectives.


- Strengthen Xiaomis brand visibility and consumer engagement through effective on-ground marketing.


- Build and sustain high-performing relationships with distributors, retailers, and key trade partners.


- Lead, mentor, and inspire large cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.


- Partner closely with central functions (Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, HR) to ensure seamless business execution.


- Track and analyze market trends, competitor movements, and consumer behavior to identify growth opportunities.


- Represent the organization with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and trade associations, as required.


Candidate Profile


- Postgraduate degree in Business Management (MBA preferred).


- 15+ years of experience in sales, distribution, and channel management, with experience in a state or zonal leadership role.


- Proven record of managing large teams and driving high-volume business operations.


- Strong analytical, commercial, and people leadership skills.


- High level of ownership, agility, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.


- Willingness to travel extensively within the state/zone.


- Industry preference: Consumer electronics, mobile handsets, telecom, FMCG, durables, or similar high-velocity sectors.
