Vice President Corporate Legal

A retained customer of CXO Roles - Indias leading managed workspace provider, is looking for someone who can bring clarity, discipline, and judgment to the legal backbone of the business. This role matters because every deal, every space, and every relationship rests on sound agreements and sharp risk management.

The Role:

You will anchor the legal function and shape how the company negotiates, protects itself, and grows with confidence. Your work will influence major commercial decisions and keep the business ahead of risk, not reacting to it.

What Youll Do:

- Review, draft, and negotiate commercial contracts including lease deeds, service agreements, vendor contracts, and client agreements.

- Advise cross-functional teams including Sales and Projects on legal issues tied to managed office spaces.

- Strengthen internal policies and processes so they align with current laws and good governance.

- Lead risk assessment efforts and guide the business on contract management and mitigation strategies.

- Support senior leadership with strategic decisions that require sound legal perspective.

- Manage, mentor, and develop members of the legal team.

- Ensure major contracts are finalized on time and to a high standard.

What You Bring:

- LLB or LLM with 10 to 15 years of experience, including 2 to 3 years in a Legal Head or similar leadership role.

- A track record of negotiating large and complex commercial agreements.

- Experience in managed office spaces, commercial real estate, or top-tier law firms.

- Strong drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills.

- Deep understanding of property law, contract law, and corporate compliance.

- Clear communication, steady judgment, and experience managing teams.

- Career stability and references that speak to integrity and competence.
