Tracxn - AVP - Business Strategy & Operations - Data Strategy & Automation

Location: Bangalore, India (Work From Office)

- Experience: 5-8 years (BTech + IIMs/top-tier B-schools) + prior software development /technology experience preferred

About the Role

We are seeking a strategy leader to lead Tracxn's Data Operations & Strategy team. This role is ideal for candidates with a BTech and an MBA, as well as prior experience in SaaS, management consulting, or business strategy roles.

You will own the strategy, KPIs, and automation roadmap for a large-scale data organisation, driving operational excellence, AI-led innovation, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Business Planning

- Define and execute a long-term strategy for Tracxn's Data department.

- Translate business goals into operational priorities, KPIs, and success metrics.

- Identify and implement new data acquisition models, automation tools, and AI/ML solutions.

Data Operations Management

- Lead large-scale SaaS-style data pipelines involving APIs, web scraping, AI/LLMs, and human curation.

- Improve accuracy, turnaround time, and scalability of data operations.

- Reduce manual intervention through workflow automation.

Team Leadership

- Manage and mentor senior managers and their teams (100+ members).

- Build leadership bench strength and foster a high-performance culture.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Sales to align data capabilities with business needs.

- Influence product roadmap through data-driven insights.

Who Should Apply

Education: BTech + MBA from IIMs, or other top-tier institutes.

Experience: 5-8 years in SaaS companies, consulting firms, or strategy/operations roles with a -strong tech/data component.

Skills:

- Strategic problem-solving

- Familiarity with AI, ML, automation, APIs, and web scraping (preferred but not mandatory)
