Senior Vice President - Finance & Accounting

Role Type: Individual Contributor (IC)

Key Responsibilities

1. Record-to-Report (R2R) & Controllership

- Manage end-to-end R2R processes including journal entries, reconciliations, account analysis, and month-end & year-end closures.

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and client policies.

- Drive accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reporting.

2. Client Interaction & Advisory

- Directly interact with CFOs and senior finance stakeholders of US-based clients.

- Provide insights, clarifications, and financial recommendations as required.

- Serve as the key point of contact for finance-related client queries.

3. Technical & Analytical Excellence

- Leverage Advanced Excel skills for reporting, data analysis, and process automation.

- Identify process improvements, implement best practices, and enhance efficiency in accounting operations.

- Maintain meticulous attention to detail while handling large volumes of financial data.

4. Independent Delivery & Ownership

- Operate as a hands-on controller managing full-spectrum finance & accounting activities.

- Demonstrate ownership of deliverables and ensure high-quality, error-free outputs.

- Work independently across multiple client accounts and global finance operations.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Strong experience in Record-to-Report (R2R) and end-to-end accounting.

- Excellent English communication skills for client-facing interactions.

- Expertise in Advanced Excel for reporting, reconciliation, and analysis.

- Ability to work independently with ownership and precision.

- Experience handling US-based clients is preferred.

Preferred Background

- Experience working with Non-Profit Organizations providing full-spectrum finance & accounting solutions.

- Familiarity with global finance operations and international accounting standards.
