Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of large corporate clients.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers (CFOs, Treasurers, etc.).
- Understand client business models, industry trends, and financial needs to provide tailored banking solutions.
Business Development:
- Identify and onboard new large corporate clients to expand the banks market share.
- Cross-sell banking products including working capital finance, term loans, trade finance, treasury, cash management, and investment banking solutions.
- Work closely with product, credit, and operations teams to deliver customized financial solutions.
Credit & Risk Management:
- Conduct financial analysis, credit assessment, and due diligence of clients.
- Prepare and present credit proposals in line with bank policies and risk appetite.
- Monitor portfolio health, identify early warning signals, and take proactive risk mitigation measures.
Revenue & Profitability:
- Achieve assigned revenue, asset, and liability growth targets.
- Optimize returns through effective pricing, cost management, and cross-selling initiatives.
- Compliance & Governance
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, regulatory guidelines, and KYC/AML standards.
- Maintain high standards of documentation, reporting, and audit compliance.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of corporate banking products and financial markets.
- Proven relationship management and client acquisition skills.
- Excellent credit appraisal and financial analysis capabilities.
- Negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders and product teams.
- Sound understanding of risk management and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: MBA/PGDM in Finance, CA, or equivalent qualification.
- Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in corporate banking, with a focus on large corporates or institutional clients.
- Prior experience in managing high-value corporate portfolios and credit structuring preferred.
