- Provide legal guidance and support to various departments and stakeholders within the organization regarding contract interpretation, compliance, and risk assessment.
- Conduct legal research to stay up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations, as well as industry best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement contract management policies and procedures.
- Work closely with outside counsel as necessary to ensure legal issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
- Proven experience as a legal counsel in a business environment.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of corporate law and procedures.
- Full comprehension of the influences of the external environment of a corporation.
- Demonstrated ability to create legal defensive or proactive strategies.
