We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced Manager, Operations with an MBA to lead our operations in Ahmedabad. In this crucial role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our logistics operations, with a strong focus on both strategic oversight and hands-on execution. Your MBA will be instrumental in driving process improvements, optimizing resource allocation, and contributing to the overall business strategy.

Job Description:

- Maintain constant communication with managers, staff, and vendors to ensure proper operations of the company.

- Possess in-depth operational knowledge of all four products: Ocean Export/Import & Air Export/Import.

- Develop, implement, and maintain quality protocols to ensure service excellence.

- Increase the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance the company's internal capacity and profitability, leveraging business acumen gained from your MBA.

- Ensure that operational activities remain on time and within budget, with a keen eye on cost optimization.

- Involve in solving issues at escalation levels, demonstrating strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

- Conduct regular checkpoints at all operational levels to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.

- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable departments, ensuring financial accuracy and efficiency.

- Manage all export and import shipments from end-to-end.

- Deal effectively with shippers/consignees' requirements, ensuring high customer satisfaction.

- Manage relationships with truckers and customs clearance brokers to facilitate smooth logistics.

- Deal effectively with agents worldwide, fostering strong international partnerships.

- Ensure that processes and employees are working smoothly and efficiently, fostering a productive work environment.

- Cultivate and maintain good relationships with shipping lines.

- Able to build and mentor a new team of operations professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.

- Track Daily Sales Reports (DSR) and prepare comprehensive managerial reports as per company requirements, providing data-driven insights.
