Sagility - Vice President - Global Controller - CA

Designation: Vice President (Finance)

Reporting to: CFO (APAC & US)

Location: Bangalore, India. Should be willing to travel domestic and international

Qualification: Chartered Accountant with minimum 15 years of relevant experience managing F&A teams handling end to end Controllership Function

Shift timings: India time

Role Dimensions:

The role is an integral part of the organization's overall strategy towards building Center of Excellence and focussing on Sagility Global

The specific responsibilities in this role would be the following:

- Handle IFRS, IndAS, consolidation and disclosures.

- Work with Auditors and ensure timely closure of Financials

- Set up Internal Controls and ensure Financial Reporting is accurate (ICFR) - upgrade the processes to SOX practices. Ensure and evidence all supporting documents on ICFR.

- Ensure delivery of monthly MIS along with variance analysis

- Available at all times during the working hours to take calls and resolve queries

- Guide the team on documentation and evidencing for AR, AP, GL, FA, Forex, Inter Co reconciliations, Treasury

- Ensure smooth audits - internal, statutory or specific audits

- Focus on bringing automation to enhance working experience of teams at high level of accuracy and seamless customer experience

- Work closely with all other Functions

Desired Knowledge, skills and attitudes:

The ideal candidate should have

- Hands ON experience in Accounting

- Excellent Accounting knowledge preferably with exposure to IFRS / IndAS

- Experience of having implemented SOX

- Experience in ERP, prefer exposure to WorkDay / SAP

- Must have ability to build blue print with regards to delivery strategy across multiple legal entities

- Managing internal client expectations and effective stakeholder management

- Experience in dealing with Big 4 Auditors
