Legal AI & Strategic Intelligence Leader


Description:


Key Responsibilities:


- Provide rapid, board-level legal advice and clear strategic options on cross-sector, high-impact matters.

- Lead matter analysis and produce concise case studies and post-mortems that translate legal outcomes into business lessons.

- Build, own and maintain executive dashboards (litigation exposure, regulatory heatmaps, contract KPIs, compliance scores) for Chairman and CXO use.

- Design and drive AI/data solutions for contract review, precedent search, outcome-prediction models and regulatory monitoring.

- Supervise major litigation points, coordinate external counsel, and lead arbitration/regulatory interactions when required.

- Embed legal risk into business decision-making: surface risks early, propose mitigants, and track remediation.

- Mentor a small team of legal technologists and analysts; forge strong partnerships with strategy, finance, compliance and IT.

- Maintain absolute confidentiality, exercise sound judgement under pressure, and represent the Chairman in select stakeholder forums.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

- LLB (mandatory). LLM or equivalent is an advantage.

- CA or MBA (Finance/Strategy/Operations) strongly preferred demonstrates business fluency.

- 6 to 12 years relevant experience (in-house at large corporations, top law firms, or a mix), with demonstrable exposure to corporate, regulatory and litigation matters.

- Proven experience implementing or working with legal technology (AI tools, contract lifecycle management, analytics platforms) and building dashboards (Power BI/Tableau or equivalent).

- Strong analytical skills: matter triage, scenario modelling, writing crisp legal briefs and case studies for senior executives.

- Excellent interpersonal gravitas and ability to engage directly with the Chairman and Board.

- High integrity, discretion, and resilience; readiness for high-tempo, high-stakes work.

- Exceptional communication - able to translate technical legal issues into clear business recommendations.
