Role Overview:

- We are seeking a highly accomplished and dynamic Partner to join our esteemed General Corporate practice in either Mumbai or Delhi NCR. This pivotal role involves providing expert legal counsel to a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from multinational corporations to emerging growth companies, on a wide array of corporate matters.


- You will be instrumental in leading complex transactions, advising on strategic initiatives, and fostering strong client relationships.


- This role collaborates closely with associates, senior partners, and industry specialists within the firm, ensuring seamless service delivery and contributing to the firm's overall growth and reputation. Your expertise will directly impact our clients' success by guiding them through critical business decisions, mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage complex M&A transactions, private equity investments, and joint ventures, ensuring successful deal execution for clients.

- Provide strategic legal advice on corporate governance matters, helping clients establish and maintain best practices.

- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, protecting clients' interests and minimizing potential liabilities.

- Advise clients on general corporate advisory matters, including regulatory compliance, corporate restructuring, and shareholder agreements.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, serving as a trusted advisor and anticipating their legal needs.

- Mentor and supervise junior lawyers, fostering their professional development and contributing to the growth of the firm's talent pool.

- Contribute to the firm's business development efforts by identifying and pursuing new opportunities, enhancing the firm's market presence.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in Corporate Law, M&A, Private Equity, general corporate advisory, Corporate Governance, and Contracts.

- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide practical and effective legal solutions.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with clients and colleagues.

- Proven ability to lead and manage teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.

- A Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree from a recognized university.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment and adapt to evolving legal and business landscapes.
