Role: Lead - CS & Legal Location : Bangalore, India Description : At OnePlus, we are looking to hire a Lead CS & Legal who will be responsible for legal matters, anticipate and manage risks and represent the organisation in forums whenever required.Reporting Structure: This role will report to the Regional Legal Head Role & Responsibilities : - Work as the Company Secretary of the Company and handle statutory compliance of its affiliate. - Responsible for general law compliances of the Company. - Enforcement of compliance strategy of the Group in the Company, as well as advisory and interpretation services in relation to and SOP as required. - To take lead, consult, defense the Company in civil, criminal litigations, proceedings, to lead legal support in government investigations. - Coordination with the external consultants from time to time to solve disputes, better manage the compliance issues. - Drafting, vetting, negotiations and documentation of various contracts and other legal & commercial documents. - Proactively identify risk exposures and propose mitigation strategies. - Liaising with governmental officials on compliance matters. Represent company and other senior officials of the Company in front of the Judicial/Quasi-Judicial/ State authorities. - Other legal related work as directed by Group. Expectations from the Candidate: - ICSI Law Juris with a minimum 8 10 years working experience in the field of corporate legal compliances. - Experience in IT/Telecom/Consumer Goods/Consumer Electronics or similar industry is preferred. - Well conversant with applicable laws including but not limited to Companies Act, FEMA, Data Privacy, EHS and other various law compliances. - Experience in a multinational environment would be preferred - Good in cross-department coordination capability and communication skill and ability to influence key stakeholders and the leadership for approvals on compliance strategy.
