Role Summary:
The Sales Manager - ERP will be responsible for driving business growth through the sale of ERP solutions, managing the complete sales lifecycle, and building long-term client relationships. The role demands a strong understanding of ERP products, consultative selling capabilities, and the ability to align customer needs with tailored ERP solutions, particularly within complex, process-driven industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities for ERP solutions
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
- Manage the complete sales lifecycle from lead generation to closure
- Conduct ERP product demonstrations and solution presentations to clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders
- Understand client business processes and map ERP solutions accordingly
- Collaborate with pre-sales, implementation, and product teams to ensure solution alignment
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and growth opportunities
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipelines, and MIS reports
- Drive customer satisfaction and long-term account growth
Required Skillset:
- Proven experience in ERP sales and solution-based selling
- Strong understanding of ERP applications and business process integration
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to manage complex sales cycles and enterprise accounts
- Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills
- Market research and analytical capabilities
- Results-driven mindset with strong ownership and accountability
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience selling ERP solutions to construction, infrastructure, or similar industries
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field
- MBA or equivalent management qualification is an added advantage
