Role Overview

The Business Development Manager (ERP Sales) is a high-energy, target-driven sales professional role requiring 4-8 years of core ERP sales experience.

The incumbent is responsible for managing the full ERP sales cycle from initial lead generation to closure and ensuring client needs are translated into the right module recommendations.

This is a Full-time position located in Indore.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager (48 years experience) with a mandatory solid understanding of core ERP modules (Finance, Sales, Inventory, HR).

The ideal candidate will be target-driven, responsible for meeting clients, understanding complex business requirements, and strategically recommending the most suitable ERP solutions.

Core responsibilities include coordinating product demos and Proof of Concepts (POCs) with technical teams, building strong sales pipelines, and maintaining long-term client relationships to drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities and Technical Deliverables

Full Sales Cycle Management (ERP Focus):

- Drive the full ERP sales cycle from lead generation and qualification through proposal submission and contract closure.

- Meet clients & diligently understand their business needs, process bottlenecks, and functional requirements to identify key pain points the ERP solution can address.

- Recommend the right ERP modules and configurations (e.g., Financial Accounting, SCM, CRM, HCM) based on a detailed analysis of the client's operational workflows.

- Build strong pipelines for sustained growth, accurately forecasting sales and monitoring pipeline health using CRM tools.

Technical Collaboration and Solutions Presentation:

- Coordinate product demos/POCs (Proof of Concepts) with technical and pre-sales teams, translating client requirements into technical scope for demonstrations.

- Actively participate in the solution presentation, leveraging Strong communication & presentation skills to articulate the technical and business value proposition of the ERP system.

- Utilize Target-driven approach and mandatory demo/POC experience to move opportunities efficiently through the sales funnel.

Client Relationship and Market Insight:

- Maintain strong client relationships post-sale to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities for additional ERP modules or services.

- Leverage any Existing ERP network (Nice to Have) for immediate pipeline development.

- Stay abreast of market trends and possess Industry workflow knowledge (Nice to Have) to position the ERP solution strategically against competitors.

- Apply SaaS/Cloud ERP exposure (Nice to Have) in solution discussions, highlighting modern deployment and consumption models.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

Experience: 4+ yrs core ERP sales experience.

Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of ERP modules (Finance, Sales, Inventory, HR).

Sales Process: Proven ability to drive full ERP sales cycle - lead to closure.

Skills: Strong communication & presentation skills.

Mindset: Target-driven with mandatory demo/POC experience.

Nice to Have Skills

Technology: SaaS/Cloud ERP exposure.

Domain: Industry workflow knowledge.

Network: Existing ERP network
