Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Legal Manager - Non-Litigation to lead and manage all non-litigation legal activities, including drafting, vetting, and advisory for retail lending products. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Home Loans (HL) and Loan Against Property (LAP).

Key Responsibilities

- Drafting, reviewing, and vetting a wide range of legal documents, agreements, and contracts related to HL/LAP portfolios.

- Providing legal support and advisory for non-litigation matters across branches/business teams.

- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal legal policies.

- Coordinating with external legal partners for property-related documentation, title search -reports, and due diligence.

- Strengthening legal processes to minimize risks in retail lending operations.

- Supporting business teams with legal opinion on structured cases and complex property matters.

- Maintaining updated knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices in mortgage and retail lending.

Requirements:

- 15-20 years of experience in non-litigation legal roles within BFSI, NBFC, or Housing Finance domain.

- Mandatory experience in Home Loans (HL) and Loan Against Property (LAP).

- Strong expertise in drafting, vetting, documentation, and regulatory compliance.

- Excellent understanding of property laws, due diligence processes, and mortgage-related documentation.

- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
