We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to lead and manage recruitment for junior, mid, and senior-level positions across legal and corporate functions. This role is critical in ensuring a robust and efficient hiring process that aligns with the firm's standards of excellence and culture. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in professional services recruitment, with deep understanding of law firm dynamics and candidate engagement.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Recruitment Management
- Manage the complete hiring cycle for junior, mid-level, and senior-level positions (excluding partners).
- Collaborate closely with Practice Group Leaders, Hiring Managers, and HR team to define role requirements, sourcing strategy, and timelines.
- Source and evaluate candidates using job portals, LinkedIn, internal referrals, and legal recruitment agencies.
Interview Coordination & Evaluation
- Schedule and coordinate interviews with internal stakeholders, ensuring a smooth candidate experience.
- Assist in structuring evaluation criteria and collating feedback post interviews.
- Maintain strong communication with shortlisted candidates through each stage.
Vendor Management
- Engage and manage external recruitment partners/legal search firms.
- Share mandates, negotiate commercials, and ensure delivery quality.
Hiring Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure timely documentation for offers, background checks, and internal approvals.
- Maintain updated trackers, candidate database, and recruitment MIS reports.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as a point of contact for all hiring-related queries from business heads, HR leadership, and external partners.
- Provide regular updates and market insights on hiring progress and challenges.
Recruitment Metrics & Process Improvement
- Track key hiring metrics such as TAT, cost-per-hire, offer-to-join ratio, and source effectiveness.
- Recommend improvements to the recruitment process to increase efficiency and quality of hires.
Candidate Profile
- Education: MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent post-graduate qualification.
- Experience: Minimum 10+ years in recruitment; experience with law firms, consulting, or professional services is preferred.
- Proven expertise in hiring legal professionals and corporate staff up to senior managerial level.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills; ability to handle pressure and multitask.
- Tech-savvy, with working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Excel, and recruitment dashboards.
