Job Title: Sales Manager - FMCG / Beverage.
Location: Varanasi.
Industry: FMCG/Beverages.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the sales operations for the Varanasi region.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual targets.
- Manage distributors, dealers, and key retail accounts.
- Expand market presence by identifying new business opportunities and channels.
- Monitor sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Ensure effective execution of promotions, schemes, and product launches.
- Build, train, and motivate the sales team to improve productivity.
- Maintain strong relationships with distributors and key customers.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and adherence to company policies.
- Prepare sales reports and share regular updates with management.
Key Requirements:
- Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of sales experience in the FMCG or beverage industry.
- Strong knowledge of the Varanasi market and distribution network.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to travel within the assigned territory.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience handling GT (General Trade) and distributor management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Team handling and channel sales experience.
