Expertise:
- RBI/NBFC guidelines, corporate governance, trade finance, and arbitration.
- Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills.
- Scenario-based advisory and risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts (vendor, client, financial, technology).
- Structure agreements to mitigate risks while enabling business flexibility.
- Lead arbitration and dispute resolution strategies.
- Identify legal risks in new ventures, partnerships, and cross-border transactions.
- Advise leadership on regulatory changes and their business impact.
- Ensure compliance with RBI, NBFC and corporate law requirements.
- Develop compliance frameworks for new business initiatives and trade finance platforms.
- Partner with business heads, finance, product and operations to align legal strategy with business goals.
- Represent the company in high-stakes negotiations.
- Build and mentor a high-performing legal team.
- Drive a culture of compliance, integrity, and operational excellence.
