Role: Legal Head - Power Sector (Gender Diversity Hiring - Female Candidates preferred)
Qualification: LLB
Location: Delhi NCR
Experience Required: 15 to 20 years
Industry preference: Power, Renewable Energy
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as strategic legal advisor to the Board and senior management on business initiatives, investments, and risk management.
- Lead legal support for project development, expansion, M&A, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships.
- Oversee compliance with power sector regulations (Electricity Act, CERC/SERC, grid codes, tariff and renewable policies).
- Lead drafting and negotiation of key contracts including PPAs, EPC, fuel supply, O&M, transmission/wheeling, and land agreements.
- Support project financing, security documentation, and lender negotiations.
- Oversee litigation, arbitration and dispute resolution strategy.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in regulatory matters, PPAs, project contracts, and sector litigation.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, leadership, and commercial judgment.
