The Contract Specialist will support the administration of contracts in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable laws and client requirements. The duties of the Contract Specialist will focus on the review and negotiation of agreements with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and strategic partners, including specifically consulting services agreements, licensing agreements, nondisclosure agreements and other agreements central to the commercial operations.  JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:  - Serve as champion of contracting standards  - Implement contracting policies and processes  - Participate in and provide support and training for the deployment and use of a central client contract repository - the Client Contract Management initiative  - Review, edit and process contracts under direction of attorney  - Identify risks and issues; suggest alternative solutions  - Respond to complex inquiries regarding contract obligations and revisions  - Prepare and disseminate information regarding contract status, compliance, modifications, etc.  - Provide timely reports on contract metrics and complex legal issues  - Provide negotiation support as required by Legal Team  - Work closely with legal team to resolve or support resolution of complex legal issues  - Provide assistance to seek approvals on deviations of contract policies  - Act as bridge and point of contact between functions and business for resolving contractual issues  - Maintain generic contract templates  Education: LLB/ BA LLB/LLM/MBA-LLM  Work Experience:  - Minimum of 7 years experience in contracts management with significant experience in international contracting and complex contractual arrangements  Technical Skills:  - Must have an in-depth understanding of commercial contracting terms and conditions/practices and legal implications
