
Role Overview:
An ideal candidate will have working experience as in-house lawyer or in a law firm managing legal aspects of general corporate laws, infrastructure, construction, and energy projects. This role requires strong understanding of projects, risk management and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Contracts: Managing legal documentation, drafting, review and negotiation of variety of agreements including investment agreements, lease agreements, share purchase agreements, procurement contracts, service contracts, GTCs, RFP, RFQ, NDAs, joint ventures, EPC etc.
- Managing contractual disputes across jurisdictions; Management and filing of relevant contractual documents (letters, e-mails, minutes).
- Advisory on general corporate laws, corporate governance, and regulatory on a day to day basis.
- Stakeholder Management (Internal & External): Management of internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaboration with cross functional teams for project management, contractual dispute resolution, training etc.
- Work with domestic and international law firms for corporate as well as plant level issues relating to existing and upcoming Projects.
