Position: Sales East


Job Summary:


As a Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in accelerating the growth of Distribution Sales (via Channel Partners) and Direct Sales of Power Tools & Industrial Lifting Equipment in the Railways, Aerospace & Defence sectors.


Your primary responsibility is to drive product strategy and ensure offerings meet market demands and exceed customer expectations.


Responsibilities:


- Product Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of IR productstheir features, benefits, and technical specifications.


- Manage enquiry pipeline, forecast, and create new opportunities for profitable growth.


- Review channel partner performance monthly to ensure achievement of monthly and annual targets.


- Key Account Management: Map and manage customer requirements, build relationships across hierarchies, and leverage connections to generate opportunities.


- Market Analysis: Research customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscapes to guide product development and positioning.


- Product Positioning & Marketing: Create effective product messaging, positioning, and marketing content to communicate value propositions.


- Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to clients and channel partners, address queries, troubleshoot issues, and ensure satisfaction.


- Training: Conduct sessions and workshops for internal teams, clients, and users on product features, usage, and best practices.


- Sales Support: Collaborate with channel partners for demos, presentations, and proposals to align customer needs with products.


- Work cross-functionally within IR to meet customer expectations.


- Appoint new Channel Partners working in Railways / Aerospace / Defence segments.


Qualifications:


- MBA with Technical Degree will be an added advantage


- 8 - 10 years of relevant experience handling OEMs/EPC accounts in Railways, Aerospace & Defence through direct and indirect (channel) sales.


- Proven experience in the railway industry, preferably in a product-focused role.


- Power tools & handling equipment experience is an added advantage.


- Strong technical acumen with a solid understanding of railway systems and equipment.
