Job Purpose:
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. HR Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Lead workforce planning, succession planning, and talent management initiatives.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to identify organizational development needs and propose effective solutions.
2. Compensation & Benefits
- Design and manage competitive compensation structures and benefits programs.
- Ensure compensation practices comply with regulatory requirements and are competitive in the market.
- Conduct market research and salary surveys to analyze compensation trends.
- Oversee the administration of employee benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness programs.
3. Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure all HR policies and practices comply with labor laws and regulations.
- Lead the organization's compliance efforts related to employment law, EEO, and other regulatory requirements.
- Conduct audits and risk assessments to identify potential HR-related risks and implement mitigation strategies.
5. HR Metrics & Reporting
- Develop and analyze HR metrics and KPIs to track organizational performance.
- Use data-driven insights to recommend improvements to HR processes and programs.
- Prepare and present HR reports to senior leadership, highlighting key trends and areas of focus.
6. Grievances & People Management
- Act as a trusted advisor to management and employees, resolving employee grievances, conflicts, and disputes effectively.
- Implement best practices in employee engagement, retention, and career development.
- Provide leadership and support to the HR team, ensuring they are well-equipped to handle HR functions.
- Lead employee relations programs to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
Key Qualifications:
Education:
- Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 15-16 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 10 years in a management role.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing HR strategies and compensation structures.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance requirements, and HR best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data, generate reports, and make data-driven decisions.
- A track record of managing employee grievances, conflict resolution, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Proficiency with HRIS and other HR management systems is an advantage.
