Head - Trusteeship Services - LLB/CS

For a leading , Listed Cat-1 Merchant Banking Group, looking for senior Leader

ABOUR ROLE :

Head of Trusteeship Compliance and Department Establishment, you will be responsible for building and leading the Trusteeship Services Department, with a strong focus on compliance management and ensuring the highest level of regulatory adherence. This includes setting up the department's processes, policies, and teams, while ensuring that all activities within the trusteeship function meet the regulatory standards set by SEBI, RBI, Companies Act, and other relevant bodies

KRA :

1. Establishment of Trusteeship Services Department

- Department Setup: Lead the creation and structuring of the Trusteeship Services Department, including defining its strategic direction, organizational design, and operational procedures.

- Team Building: Recruit and onboard key personnel with expertise in trusteeship, compliance, and regulatory frameworks. Develop and implement training programs to ensure ongoing professional development.

- Process & Policy Development:

4. Liaison with Regulatory Bodies

- Regulatory Relationships: Act as the primary point of contact with regulatory bodies such as SEBI, RBI, and other relevant authorities for compliance-related matters.

- Regulatory Change Management: Monitor changes in laws and regulations impacting trusteeship services. Ensure the department is updated on regulatory changes and that necessary adjustments are made to the operational processes.

5. Reporting & Performance Monitoring

Desired Profile:

- CS /LLB with Minimum 15 years + experience in similar space.

- Deep understanding of the regulatory landscape for trusteeship services, including knowledge of SEBI, RBI, Companies Act, and other relevant financial regulations.

- Proven ability to build and lead a high-performing team, ensuring that compliance practices are ingrained across all levels of the department
