Role Overview:

As the Head of Legal, you will serve as the primary architect of the organizations legal strategy, navigating complex regulatory landscapes to safeguard the companys interests. You will work closely with the Board of Directors, executive leadership, and external counsel to provide high-stakes advisory support on corporate governance, risk mitigation, and strategic business initiatives. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our business operations remain compliant while enabling aggressive growth, acting as a trusted partner who translates intricate legal frameworks into actionable business outcomes that protect the companys reputation and bottom line.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the end-to-end legal function, overseeing corporate law, litigation strategy, and regulatory compliance to ensure the organization operates within the highest standards of legal integrity.

- Manage complex contract lifecycles, from drafting and negotiation to final execution, to protect the companys commercial interests and minimize contractual liabilities.

- Direct high-stakes litigation and dispute resolution efforts, representing the companys interests before courts and regulatory bodies to secure favorable outcomes.

- Oversee comprehensive due diligence processes for mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships, providing the leadership team with critical insights to drive informed investment decisions.

- Optimize legal operations by implementing robust internal policies and compliance frameworks that streamline workflows and enhance organizational efficiency.

- Advise the Board and senior management on evolving regulatory requirements, proactively identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies to support long-term business sustainability.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrate mastery in corporate law and regulatory compliance, with a proven track record of navigating complex legal environments in large-scale organizations.

- Exhibit exceptional negotiation and conflict resolution abilities, capable of influencing senior stakeholders and external partners to achieve strategic objectives.

- Possess a deep understanding of legal operations, with the ability to build and mentor high-performing teams that align with the broader corporate culture.

- Communicate complex legal concepts with clarity and precision, ensuring that executive leadership can make data-driven decisions based on sound legal counsel.

- Hold a degree in Law (LL.B./LL.M.) from a premier institution, complemented by 20 - 28 years of extensive experience in managing legal functions at a senior leadership level.
