Head - Finance - Plant

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Finance to lead end-to-end financial management for the plant. This is a senior leadership role responsible for plant-level financial planning, budgeting, compliance, cost control, and performance monitoring while partnering closely with operations and management teams.

Key Responsibilities (KRA):

1. Financial Planning, Budgeting & MIS

- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for plant operations.

- Monitor budget utilization and analyze variances, recommending corrective actions.

- Manage end-to-end plant finance including costing, inventory valuation, and working capital.

- Prepare and present monthly MIS, financial dashboards, and performance reports.

2. Cost Control & Profitability

- Drive cost optimization initiatives and identify opportunities for operational efficiency.

- Monitor plant-level margins and financial performance indicators

3. Audit, Compliance & Taxation

- Ensure GST, TDS, and all statutory compliance requirements are met.

- Coordinate and manage internal and external audits, ensuring accurate documentation and timely closure of audit observations.

4. Internal Controls & Processes

- Implement and strengthen SOPs related to finance and plant operations.

- Establish strong financial controls, approval mechanisms, and governance frameworks.

- Drive automation and process improvements in financial systems.

5. Business Partnering

- Work closely with operations, procurement, and supply chain teams to improve financial efficiency.

- Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making.

Qualifications & Experience:

- CA / MBA Finance or equivalent qualification.

- 10+ years of experience in plant finance, manufacturing, recycling, or industrial environment.

- Strong knowledge of costing, budgeting, compliance, and financial controls.

- Leadership experience with ability to manage teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
