Key Responsibilities:

1. Stakeholder and Investor Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and investors.

- Effectively communicate financial performance, forecasts, and strategic initiatives to investors and stakeholders.

- Prepare, manage, and present financial insights and strategic recommendations and reports to support business decisions in board meetings.

- Develop and maintain a comprehensive board deck to communicate financial performance, strategic initiatives, and key business updates.

- Present financial insights and strategic recommendations to support business decisions.

- Develop compelling narratives around the company's growth trajectory and key performance indicators (KPIs) to support Series B funding efforts.

2. Compliance and Due Diligence:

- Oversee the preparation, organization, and management of all due diligence documentation for potential investors and stakeholders.

- Ensure all financial records are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with regulatory standards.

- Ensure all financial agreements and contracts are accurately processed and recorded.

- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards for US and Indian Entity

3. Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) Management:

- Manage and administer the ESOP until the company reaches a valuation of $25- $50M.

- Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and compliance related to ESOP transactions.

4. Treasury Management:

- Develop and implement strategies for the effective utilization of unused cash balances.

- Monitor and manage the company's liquidity and cash flow to optimize financial performance.

5. Accounts Payable/Receivable:

- Manage the accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions.

- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and clients to support financial operations.

6. Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):

- Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and planning processes.

- Conduct due diligence on financial projects and provide strategic recommendations based on financial analysis.

7. Payroll Management:

- Oversee the payroll process to ensure timely and accurate payment to employees.

- Ensure compliance with payroll laws and regulations in both US and India.

8. Tax Registration and Compliance:

- Manage tax registration processes and ensure compliance with tax regulations.

- Prepare and file tax returns accurately and on time.

- Familiar with US laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

- CA/MBA

- Proven experience in finance controller ship or senior financial leadership role at SAAS Startup or Product software companies

- Proven experience in US based Startup is mandatory.

- Proven experience in post Series B company is mandatory.

- Strong understanding of financial management, accounting principles, and financial regulations.

- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

- Proficiency in financial software and tools.

- Ability to work effectively with stakeholders, investors, and cross-functional teams.

- High level of integrity and professionalism.
