Head - Corporate Finance & Accounts - Automotive Manufacturing - CA

The incumbent shall be responsible for overall Corporate Finance & Accounts, Secretarial, Legal matters, Taxation, Treasury etc.

Controlling / Accounting :

- Oversee Plant and Sales Controlling operations, reports, control and processes. Ensure they are in line with Corporate standard, due dates and policies

- Comparison of planned and actual values for measurement and evaluation of the implemented plans, analysis and interpretation of the cause of deviations from plan and proposals to reduce deviations;

- Budget process of the company and ensure that the budget is based on agreed strategic goals

- Ensure that all Accounting operations are in line with Corporate standard and policies and that they comply with National and

- International Accounting Standard and National laws

Management:

- Managing of controlling, accounting, treasury and legal activities

- Advise management on financial effects by analyzing and evaluating decision alternatives

- Together with Plant/Market Managers lead and steer plant/market organization according to company guidelines, goals, KPIs and rules

- Organization of and participation in board assemblies, preparation of board resolutions (together with legal advisor / company secretary)

- Definition of the local entity's strategy, as well as rules and goals in line with the corporate / divisional framework

Treasury:

- Ensure correct management of Treasury, in line with corporate policies and taking into account the requirements of financial institutions in order to ensure the necessary liquidity that the companies required. Optimize cash flow and minimize risks. Use corporate tool such as Cash Pool etc.

- Keep close contact with Corporate Finance.

Strategy & Planning:

- Contribution to strategy planning and development including management and development policies, systems, processes and human resources

- Participate in the development of the operational strategy for the market and production entities

- Forecasting results of business and economic activities of the company, preparation of proposals and recommendations for management with cost and other estimates to avoid losses

Finance Operations:

- Analysis and monitoring of company's operational activities and processes in terms of their efficiency, preparation of alignment proposals and control over taken measures

- Preparation of financial reports incl. balance sheets, income statements and tax reports in accordance with local and/or corporate requirements

- Internal controls and compliance with written Corporate Policies

- Audit done by external parties

- Coordination of internal audits and the implementation of audit recommendations

Taxes:

- Ensure correctness of tax calculation and payments, and improve further the structure of the company to gain future tax benefits

- Determination of tax policy and accounting policies for the company

- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and requirements of Continental Group

- Evaluate and monitor financial and fiscal risks and take appropriate actions to minimise risk including provisioning where

necessary

- Ensure the proper usage and compliance of incentive programs

Preferred candidate profile:

- CA with 15 to 23 years of experience from Automotive manufacturing MNC.

- Good communication & leadership skills.
