Role Overview :

- Seeking a seasoned HR leader to head Industrial Relations (IR) & Manufacturing HR across multiple plant locations.


- This is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving harmonious industrial relations, ensuring statutory compliance, and strengthening people practices across manufacturing units.

- The role demands deep expertise in union management, labour laws, and plant HR operations, along with the ability to partner with business leaders to drive productivity, engagement, and organizational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Industrial Relations & Union Management :

- Lead IR strategy across multiple plants with a focus on maintaining a positive industrial climate.

- Manage union negotiations, long-term settlements, and dispute resolution

Build proactive engagement frameworks with union representatives.

2. Manufacturing HR Leadership :

- Drive HR processes across plant locations including manpower planning, performance management, and workforce productivity.

- Standardize HR practices across locations while addressing plant-specific challenges.

3. Statutory Compliance & Governance :

- Ensure adherence to all applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.

- Handle inspections, legal cases, and liaison with government authorities.

4. Change Management & Transformation :

- Lead IR transformation initiatives aligned with business goals.

- Implement modern HR practices in manufacturing environments.

5. Stakeholder Management :

- Partner with Plant Heads and Business Leaders to align HR strategies with operational goals.

- Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on IR risks and workforce dynamics.

Candidate Profile :

- MBA/PGDM in HR from Tier-1/Tier-2 institutes.

- 15 - 20 years of experience in Manufacturing HR & Industrial Relations.

- Proven track record in handling multi-location plants and unionized workforce.

- Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws and compliance frameworks.

- Demonstrated expertise in wage negotiations, settlements, and dispute handling.

- Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills.
