
Manager - Operational Excellence
Experience : 10 - 15 years
Location - Visakhapatnam
Roles and Responsibilities
- Create continuous improvement culture in the unit through Kaizen, Lean and Six Sigma initiatives.
- Design and implement KPIs as suitable to the unit as per guidelines issued by unit management/corporate office.
- Drive measurable improvements in customer satisfaction, productivity and product flow.
- Coordinate various meetings of different levels of employees from operators to site leadership team.
- Be a team player with the ability to work cross functionally
- Train the employees on basic quality tools.
- Collect and analyze data from all departments.
- Act as a point of contact between corporate team and site leadership team in sharing best practices among the units.
- Represent the unit along with site leadership team in monthly review meetings by top management.
Education : B.E./B.Tech or B Pharmacy in any discipline.
Skills : Proficiency in MS Office and good communication skills.
Abilities : Should be able to handle different cross functional teams. Conflict management skills are important for this position.
Professional Certification: Certification in Green Belt/Black Belt preferable.
Experience: 10-15 years of experience in Operational Excellence function preferably in Pharma or related company.
