Description:

1. Labour & Employment Compliance:

- Manage labour law compliance for a large blue-collar workforce, including PF, ESIC, minimum wages, employment contracts, & Establishments registration.

- Draft, review, and manage employment contracts for full-time and shift-based workers.

- Oversee agreements and ensure vendors comply with statutory obligations.

- Handle employee disputes, industrial matters, terminations, and grievances.

- Develop and implement HR policies aligned with statutory requirements.

2. Regulatory & Statutory Compliance:

- Ensure dark stores, warehouses, and hubs are fully registered and compliant with local laws.

- Manage inspections, legal notices, and statutory reporting.

- Advise management on regulatory risks and compliance strategy.

3. Contract Management & Corporate Legal:

- Draft, review, and negotiate vendor, supplier, and service agreements.

- Manage NDAs, license agreements, and professional services contracts.

- Mitigate legal and financial risks in contracts and operations.

4. Risk Management & Dispute Resolution:

- Lead litigation management and resolution of legal notices or claims.

- Provide guidance on compliance and operational risks, including field workforce and dark-store operations.

- Ensure proper documentation and internal controls to reduce legal exposure.

5. Liaisoning & Operational Support:

- Serve as the primary interface with government authorities, labour departments, municipal bodies, and law enforcement.

- Facilitate approvals, registrations, and compliance for dark stores, warehouses, and field operations.

- Collaborate with operations and finance teams to ensure regulatory compliance across dark-store hubs and vendor networks.

6. Corporate Governance:

- Maintain corporate records, policies, and governance frameworks.

- Provide legal guidance to management and board on operational and strategic decisions.

Qualifications & Experience:

- LLB degree ( LLM or specialization in Corporate/Labour law preferred).

- 8-17 years of post-qualification experience,.

- Proven experience in blue-collar workforce management, gig economy, or retail/quick-commerce sectors.

- Strong knowledge of labour laws, statutory compliance, corporate governance, and contract management.

- Excellent negotiation, drafting, and stakeholder management skills.
