Role Overview:
- We are looking for an experienced manufacturing leader to support plant operations, drive efficiency, and ensure execution excellence across production, engineering, and process optimization in a large-scale manufacturing setup.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive manufacturing operations across diverse product lines and processes
- Support profitability improvements (PBT, contribution margins)
- Enhance Return on Capital Employed (ROCE) and working capital efficiency
- Implement manufacturing excellence initiatives, including Industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing
- Lead value engineering and value stream mapping initiatives
- Ensure seamless execution of new project implementations and product launches
- Collaborate across engineering functions for process improvements and innovation
- Ensure compliance with all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements
- Manage plant resources, including a large contingent workforce
- Drive productivity, quality improvement, and cost optimization
- Coordinate with external authorities and stakeholders
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Strong exposure to large manufacturing setups with diverse product portfolios
- Hands-on experience with SAP (mandatory)
- Proven experience in driving operational excellence and continuous improvement
- Strong people management and leadership capabilities
- Experience in handling cross-functional teams and plant operations
- Ability to balance cost, quality, and delivery priorities

- Profitability improvement (PBT, contribution margins)
- Working capital optimization (inventory, debtors, collections)
- Production efficiency and cost reduction
- Product quality and successful new product launches
