Contracts Manager - Data Centre

Key Responsibilities:

- Customer Contract Management: Lead end-to-end customer contracts; draft, review, negotiate and execute commercial agreements; manage colocation, hyperscale and built-to-suit agreements, amendments, extensions and renewals.

- Commercial Negotiation: Negotiate with hyperscale customers, cloud providers, enterprise customers and strategic accounts across pricing, tenure, capacity, payment terms, termination, liability, indemnity, insurance, confidentiality and compliance.

- SLA Management: Develop and negotiate SLAs; define service commitments, performance standards, service credits, remedies and accountability mechanisms aligned with Data Centre operations.

- Risk & Contract Structuring: Identify legal, commercial and operational risks and structure appropriate risk allocation covering uptime, power/infrastructure commitments, capacity, delays, damages, indemnities and regulatory obligations.

- Data Centre Transactions: Support greenfield and brownfield developments, hyperscale deployments, large infrastructure requirements and multi-site/multi-region customer arrangements.

- Stakeholder Management: Partner with Sales, Business Development, Commercial, Finance, Engineering, Project Development, Operations, Procurement, Risk & Compliance and senior management.

- Contract Governance: Establish governance frameworks, monitor obligations and milestones, manage renewals/amendments, maintain dashboards and escalate material risks.

- Claims & Disputes: Support customer claims, disputes and escalations; assess contractual rights and coordinate with external counsel where required.

- Business Advisory: Provide practical legal and commercial advice while balancing customer requirements, business objectives, operational feasibility and risk exposure.
