Job Description: Chief Revenue Officer (CRO)


Position: Chief Revenue Officer


Location: Hyderabad, Telangana (Hybrid / Remote Flexibility)


Department: Revenue & Growth Strategy


Reports To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)


Experience Level: 6-10 years in B2B Technology / Cybersecurity Sales Leadership


Role Overview:


The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) will be responsible for developing and executing our comprehensive revenue strategy across sales, marketing, partnerships, and customer success. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution ensuring consistent and predictable growth in recurring revenue streams from cybersecurity services, SaaS-based offerings, and enterprise consulting engagements.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Revenue Strategy & Leadership:


- Develop and execute a unified revenue growth plan aligned with company goals and market expansion targets.


- Own the full revenue cycle from lead generation to customer retention and upsell strategies.


- Collaborate closely with the CEO, COO, and CFO to shape pricing models, revenue forecasts, and GTM strategies.


2. Sales & Business Development:


- Build and lead a high-performing sales organization targeting enterprise, BFSI, fintech, and mid-market clients.


- Establish scalable sales processes and KPIs across inbound, outbound, and channel sales teams.


- Drive enterprise pipeline growth for services like SOC-as-a-Service, vCISO, GRC, and Cloud Security Assessments.


3. Marketing & Branding Alignment:


- Oversee marketing campaigns, brand positioning, and digital outreach to enhance market visibility.


- Partner with marketing to optimize demand generation, thought leadership, and lead nurturing funnels.


- Represent our firm at key cybersecurity summits, conferences, and partner events.


4. Channel & Partnership Development:


- Expand the Value-Added Partner (VAP) network with global cybersecurity vendors and resellers.


- Foster strategic alliances with OEMs, MSSPs, and regulatory bodies to increase market reach.


- Identify co-marketing and joint-selling opportunities that complement RES-Q-RITYs service portfolio.


5. Customer Success & Retention:


- Define frameworks for client onboarding, account management, and success measurement.


- Implement customer satisfaction metrics (NPS, renewal rate, cross-sell ratio).


- Build feedback loops between customers and service teams to enhance offerings.


6. Financial & Performance Management:


- Set quarterly and annual revenue targets; oversee forecasting, analytics, and P&L optimization.


- Leverage CRM and data analytics tools to monitor sales performance and revenue predictability.


- Report directly to the CEO on growth metrics, market trends, and expansion opportunities.


Qualifications and Experience:


Education: MBA in Sales/Marketing/Strategy or equivalent; background in Technology, Cybersecurity, or SaaS preferred.


Experience: 610 years in revenue leadership roles with a proven record of scaling B2B tech or cybersecurity organizations.


- Deep understanding of cybersecurity domains SOC, MDR, Compliance, Cloud Security, or GRC.


- Experience in recurring-revenue models, subscription-based services, and channel ecosystems.


- Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.


- A strong network within the cybersecurity or enterprise IT ecosystem is highly desirable.

- Revenue growth % (Quarterly & Annual Targets)


- Customer acquisition and retention rates


- Expansion of strategic partnerships and reseller networks


- Sales pipeline value and conversion ratio


- Profitability and revenue predictability metrics
