Chief Financial Officer - IPO & Capital Markets - CA

Chief Financial Officer (CFO):

Location: Chennai | Reporting to: Managing Director & Board

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced CFO to lead the finance function and drive the organization's IPO preparedness, financial strategy, governance and capital management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the overall IPO strategy, readiness and execution, including coordination with investment bankers, auditors, legal advisors and regulators.

- Oversee financial reporting, statutory compliance, audits, internal controls and corporate governance.

- Lead fundraising, capital structure optimization, investor relations and pre-IPO activities.

- Drive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management and business performance analysis.

- Lead financial due diligence and ensure accuracy of DRHP and other IPO-related documentation.

- Manage taxation, regulatory matters and enterprise-wide financial risks.

- Support the MD and Board on strategic investments, growth initiatives and long-term capital allocation.

- Ensure ongoing compliance and financial reporting requirements post-IPO.

Candidate Profile:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)

- 15+ years of relevant experience in senior finance leadership roles.

- Mandatory exposure to IPO / Capital Markets, with Private Equity experience preferred.

- Experience in large promoter-driven organizations, ideally 3,000 Cr+ turnover.

- Prior experience with a listed company is preferred.

- Strong expertise in financial strategy, reporting, governance, risk management and business analytics.

- Strong leadership, stakeholder management and people-management skills.

- Should be comfortable working in a family-run, promoter-led business environment.
