Assistant Sales Manager Description: About the Role: We are looking for a highly motivated and results-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant Sales Manager. This role is pivotal in driving our business growth by leading and developing a successful team of advisors/agents. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of team management, from recruitment and training to driving business development and ensuring adherence to high business standards. This is a key leadership position with significant growth potential, offering a strong incentive structure tied directly to your team's performance. Key Responsibilities: Team Development and Management: - Recruitment and Onboarding: Actively source, interview, and hire qualified advisors/agents to build a high-performing sales team. - Training and Mentorship: Develop and implement comprehensive training programs to equip your team with product knowledge, sales skills, and ethical business practices. This includes continuous mentorship and coaching. - Team Building: Foster a positive, competitive, and collaborative team environment. Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-one reviews to monitor performance and provide constructive feedback. Sales Strategy and Execution: - Business Development: Drive and oversee the team's efforts in new business generation to achieve and exceed sales targets. - Lead Generation Training: Train your team in effective lead generation strategies across various channels, including: - Social Media engagement and campaigns. - Networking and professional relationship building. - Generating referrals and leveraging word of mouth marketing. - Client Engagement: Coach the team on effective prospecting, including local client or field visits, to convert leads into long-term customers. Compliance and Process Adherence: - Process Management: Ensure the team strictly adheres to required business processes and norms, including sales documentation, reporting, and regulatory requirements. - Solution Delivery: Guarantee that the advisors/agents are providing appropriate and ethical financial solutions that align with customers' needs and best interests. Compensation and Incentives: The compensation package includes a competitive base salary and significant earning potential through a robust Incentives structure, directly rewarding success in key areas: - Team Building (Advisor/Agent Recruitment Incentive): Earn incentives for successfully recruiting and on-boarding new, productive advisors/agents into your team. - New Business Generation Incentive: Highly attractive incentives tied to the overall sales performance and new business secured by your managed team. Qualifications and Skills: - Proven experience in sales, business development, or a similar field, preferably within the financial services or insurance industry. - Prior experience in team leadership, recruitment, and sales training is highly desirable. - Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. - Strong understanding of local market dynamics and lead generation techniques. - Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets. - A Master's degree is preferred.

Responsible for recruiting and managing a team of Leader and agents. Responsible for recruiting a team of Leaders, who will recruit agents and agents will source direct business. Key Responsibility: - Exceed recruitment target on new agency leaders and agent enrollments. - Enhance quantity and quality recruitment by developing successful leaders. - Emphasis on quality recruitment by the Agency Leaders and Agency Associates through one-onone session. - Create mutual support platform for Financial Executives, Agency Associate and Agents to enable easier recruitment. - Enhance AFYP & Number of cases by the unit. - Focus on potential EC, MDRT, CEO council agents through complete unit. - Focus on number of R&R winners. - Focus on enablement and development of the team. - Ensure agents, agency associates, agency associate's unit and agency leader unit is in complaint with various IRDA guidelines. - Timely contract of agents and agency associates within regulatory guidelines. - Monitoring IRDA guidelines impacting AAP channel at regional level. - Track competition regularly at regional level on various measure such as new strategies, new compensation models etc. with particular reference to Financial Executives / AAP model developed by the competitors. - Execute plans for growth of the agency. - Identify, interview and select new leaders from market and by networking. - Ensure adherence to laid down sales and service standards for Financial Executives, Agency Associates and Agent Advisors. - Conduct weekly performance review and planning (PRP) for team. - Ensure retention of team by formulating their development plans, meeting their training needs and communicating with them on a regular basis. - Handhold, develop and supervise Financial Executives, Agency Associates and Agents to meet plan and follow growth leadership practices. Measures of Success: - Building a chain of successful leaders (Financial Executives). - Agent satisfaction survey. - Accuracy and timeliness of information. Minimum Education: - Minimum Graduation in any discipline, MBA will be an added advantage. - Overall experience of 4-6years. - Preference will be given to candidates having man management experience. - Should have minimum of 2 years of LI/Agency experience.
