About the role: The candidate will be responsible for business and market development and have a keen eye for opportunities for growth and execute key initiatives to leverage category growth and market share. Should have around 10-15 years experience with exposure to Apparel / Footwear Sales and Category Management. Preferred Qualification: Should be a Graduate or Postgraduate in any discipline from a reputable college. Roles and Responsibilities: - Regional Head will be responsible for building the buyer/ Retailers / Merchants network for the city. - Should have in depth knowledge city topography. - Enabling partnerships with Brands & SMBs across different verticals within the category. - Responsible for hiring to build the team and drive GTV for the region through aggressive buyer onboarding. - Leading and expanding existing and new territories through large on ground teams. - Building high performing teams of professionals in Sales, Business Development and Operations. - Hustling with external/local ecosystem, defining ways of working and creating trust. - Create a catalogue of products across Fashion / Apparel/ Lifestyle / Sports categories. - Manage high value and volume transactions offline. - Prior experience in B2B e-com would be an added advantage. - Role will involve liaising with the product and technology team. - Will be responsible for local level marketing and discounting. - Develop the logistics network for the region coordinating with the supply chain head of the company. - Responsible to drive top-line and bottom line across the categories. - Create a credit policy by tying up with lending platforms to ensure limited credit cycles. Skills that will help you succeed in this role: - Self-Motivated and Go-getter, will be responsible for building the SOLV brand on ground and bringing awareness of SOLV platform. - Can-do attitude and customer service orientation thereby acquiring new customers and be able to service commitments of the trade as per agreed terms. - Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close. - Can coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments including daily progress reporting to the Sales / reporting manager for tracking progress.
