Position Overview The Pan India CSD & CPC Sales Manager will be responsible for driving nationwide sales growth within the CSD (Canteen Stores Department) and CPC (Central Police Canteens / Forces) channels. This role requires strong experience in institutional sales, strategic planning, relationship management, and driving profitability across regions. The ideal candidate will work independently, manage a high-performing sales team, and ensure consistent brand visibility and product availability across all CSD/CPC outlets in India. Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development - Drive and expand sales in the CSD/CPC channels across India through the existing sales team and channel partners. - Identify new business opportunities, onboard new outlets, and enhance institutional penetration. - Ensure effective execution of sales strategies, promotions, and channel initiatives. Inventory & Merchandising Management - Oversee stock levels at various CSD/CPC outlets to ensure uninterrupted product availability. - Manage product display, shelf presence, and merchandising standards across all touchpoints. - Collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of stock. P&L & Performance Management - Manage the P&L for the CSD/CPC division and implement action plans to maintain profitability. - Track sales KPIs, analyze performance, and develop strategies to improve output across regions. Market Analysis & Branding - Conduct market share analysis and monitor competitor activities in the institutional channel. - Ensure brand visibility, compliance with CSD/CPC guidelines, and strong representation of the RICO brand. Stakeholder & Team Management - Coordinate with internal stakeholders to confirm material dispatch and order fulfilment. - Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team aligned to Pan India targets. - Build strong relationships with key CSD/CPC authorities and procurement bodies. Qualifications & Skills Required Education: Any Graduate (MBA preferred but not mandatory). Experience: 6 - 10 years in CSD (Defence Canteen Stores Department) or CPC (Central Police Forces) institutional sales. - Proven ability to manage Pan India accounts and lead sales teams. - Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to travel extensively across assigned regions. - Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word. Description: Key Responsibilities: Procurement & Purchase Operations: - Manage Purchase Requisitions and convert them into Purchase Orders based on sales and production requirements. - Conduct supplier evaluations, manage quotations, and ensure competitive procurement. - Maintain accurate costing for products and support strategic purchasing decisions. Vendor Development & Negotiation: - Lead vendor negotiations on pricing, contracts, credit terms, and service levels. - Build and maintain strong vendor relationships for long-term sourcing stability. - Evaluate vendor performance and recommend improvements or alternatives. Inventory, Planning & Supply Chain Coordination: - Monitor stock levels, safety stock, reorder points, and consumption trends. - Collaborate with sales, warehouse, and production teams to ensure smooth supply chain flow. - Prevent stockouts and minimize excess inventory through effective planning. Cost Control & Logistics Management: - Support cost optimization initiatives across purchasing and logistics functions. - Coordinate transportation, freight management, and delivery timelines. - Evaluate logistics costs and ensure cost-effective solutions. Compliance, Documentation & Audit Preparedness: - Ensure adherence to procurement SOPs and compliance guidelines. - Support internal and external audits with proper documentation and reports. - Ensure timely vendor bill processing and payments. Cross-Functional Collaboration: - Work closely with Finance, Production, Sales, and Warehouse teams to align procurement cycles. - Drive timely follow-ups to ensure operational efficiency and accuracy. Qualifications & Desired Profile: Education: - MBA in Supply Chain, Operations, Materials Management, Procurement, or General Management (or relevant PG degree) - Engineering/Science background is a plus but not mandatory for MBA graduates. Experience: - 2-5 years of relevant experience in: - Purchase & Procurement - Vendor Management - Supply Chain Coordination - Material Planning - Experience in Home Appliances, Consumer Electronics, Manufacturing, or FMCG preferred.
