Description: JOB SUMMARY: Marmore is looking for individuals who will undertake business, strategic and financial analysis. The role will see the candidate undertaking extensive writing, modelling on spreadsheets, conducting discussions and interviews with external and internal stakeholders, and seeking ways to promote ideas and recommendations even in the middle of information scarcity or ambiguous data. The individual must have an eye for detail and should be able to perform under reasonable pressure on multiple activities. DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: OPERATIONAL: - Working on strategic consulting mandates for top institutions based in the Middle East region. - Developing strategic and competitive intelligence based on deep research and analysis. - Providing recommendations to suit the business needs of clients. - Authoring strategic business and market intelligence reports, analyst briefings, white papers, blogs and other forms of content for various research themes such as Economic, Capital, Sector, Company Profiling, etc. - Proficient in undertaking desktop research effectively, quickly scaling up to add value and insights into research material gained. - Developing thematic models to make sense of data, research literature and analysis, in order to drive critical conclusions and insights. - Working confidently with clients to resolve business challenges or requirements during consulting assignments, with strong communication skills. - Developing models and hypotheses to test business scenarios, analytical models and business recommendations. - Driving continuous content development activities through ideas and suggestions. - Developing attractive PowerPoint presentations that are functional STRATEGIC: - Supporting internal senior management research requests on various topics as the case may be. - Consistently tracking and implementing best practices in research, data collection and presentation. - Looking out for ways to refine content presentation to reach more members of the target audience. TECHNICAL SKILLS: The candidate should possess the following technical skills: - Report writing skills - Business & Financial Analysis - Industry Analysis - Macro Economic & Thematic Analysis - Valuation methodologies (PE, EV/EBITDA, DCF etc.) QUALIFICATIONS: Professional qualifications such as CA / CFA / MBA / Post Graduate degree in Economics and / or Finance or related discipline. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Preferred - 1-3 years experience in the consulting industry / investment sector, with exposure in strategy consulting, investment research, economic research. Experience in handling valuations (DCF, etc.) would be a value addition. JOB SUMMARY: - Marmore is looking for individuals who will undertake business, strategic and financial consulting roles. - The role will see the candidate conducting discussions and interviews with external and internal stakeholders, seeking ways to promote ideas and recommendations even in the middle of information scarcity or ambiguous data, quantitative modelling, and unambiguous presentation of findings in the form of reports and presentations. - The individual must have an eye for detail and should be able to perform under reasonable pressure on multiple activities. - Should be proficient in the use of various databases including Thomson Reuters (Refinitiv). - The candidate should strive and implement best practices in business and strategy consulting. MAJOR WORK AREAS: - You will contribute to a wide range of projects across various industries, helping our clients identify and define their problem statement cope with the challenges they are facing - Support the client in determining its strategy and defining the right set of initiatives & projects to execute this strategy - Perform valuation studies on listed & unlisted equities and perform credit research on corporate and government bonds - Prepare economic & industry research reports as per the requirements set by the clients - Work with a team of experienced consultants, to develop hypotheses and work out plans that address project objectives - Perform data analysis and translate into concrete insights and recommendations - Communicate analysis and recommendations in both written and oral - Train and mentor new team members as and when required - Review the work done by the team of analysts and ensure quality and timelines and adhering to the scope set by the client are met KEY SKILLS NEEDED: - Analytical, pro-active and solution oriented. Able to take initiative and make things happen with moderate supervision and guidance - Comfortable with working on difficult issues where there can be no definitive "right" answer; Capable of working on multiple, overlapping tasks in a fast-paced environment - Natural communicator - Interested in long-term strategic thinking and the implementation of any business improvement recommendation - Team-player, and adapt easily to changing circumstances - Thought leadership - Self-motivated in achieving deadlines and targets QUALIFICATIONS: Professional qualifications such as CFA. MBA / Post Graduate degree in Economics and / or Finance or related discipline.
