We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Credit Risk Analyst to join our Risk Management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing and managing credit risk across portfolios, developing risk models, and providing actionable insights using data-driven approaches. Proficiency in Python, SQL, and SAS is highly preferred to support advanced analytics and automation initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze credit risk exposure across various portfolios and recommend risk mitigation strategies. - Develop, validate, and monitor credit risk models (PD, LGD, EAD). - Perform data extraction, transformation, and analysis using SQL, Python, and SAS. - Prepare regular risk reports and dashboards for senior management and regulatory bodies. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Compliance, and Data Science. - Support stress testing, scenario analysis, and portfolio segmentation. - Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements (e.g., Basel, IFRS 9). Required Qualifications: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. - 2+ years of experience in credit risk analysis or a similar role. - Strong understanding of credit risk concepts, financial products, and risk regulations. - Proficiency in Python for data analysis and model development. - Advanced SQL skills for querying large datasets. - Experience with SAS for statistical analysis and reporting. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with machine learning techniques for credit scoring. - Familiarity with visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). - Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as Basel III, IFRS 9, CCAR. - Experience working in banking, fintech, or financial services.
