Job Title: Finance & Account Manager (CA background Preferred) Location: Pune, Hinjewadi Type: FTE Experience: 7 Years Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced candidate with a strong background in financial management within an IT organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and analysing financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulations, managing accounting operations, and providing strategic financial insights to drive business growth. Key Responsibilities: Financial Reporting and Analysis: - Prepare and maintain Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss (P&L) Statements, and Cash Flow Statements for projects and the organization. - Generate monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial status reports and present insights to stakeholders. - Analyse financial performance, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions. Budgeting and Forecasting: - Develop and manage annual budgets and financial forecasts in collaboration with department heads. - Monitor budget variances and implement cost-control measures. - Provide financial projections to support strategic decision-making. Managing Accounting Operations: - Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and tax compliance. - Ensure timely and accurate financial transactions, reconciliations, and audits. - Optimize financial processes and implement best practices. Ensuring Compliance with Regulatory Standards: - Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards. - Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies as needed. - Stay updated on financial laws and industry regulations affecting IT businesses. Implementing Financial Controls and Risk Management Strategies: - Establish and maintain internal financial controls to mitigate risks. - Identify financial risks and implement risk management strategies. - Develop policies to ensure data security and financial integrity. Collaborating with Cross-Functional Teams: - Work closely with Finance, Operations, HR, and other departments to align financial strategies with business goals. - Provide financial insights to support business planning and operational efficiency. Adhering to Ethical Standards: - Maintain high ethical standards in financial reporting and decision-making. - Foster transparency and accountability in financial transactions and reporting. - Promote corporate governance best practices. Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelor's/Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. - 7+ years of experience in financial management/accounting within an IT organization. - Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and accounting principles. - Experience with financial software and ERP systems. - Expertise in tax regulations, compliance, and risk management. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills. - Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial data effectively. - Professional certifications such as CA, CPA, CFA, or CMA (preferred).
