About the Role :

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Legal Manager to lead and manage all legal, compliance and regulatory functions at Zypp Electric. This is a high-ownership role requiring strong expertise in corporate law, contract management, litigation and regulatory compliance - preferably with a background in logistics, mobility or startup environments.

Key Responsibilities :

Contract & Agreement Management :

- Lead end-to-end structuring, drafting, negotiating and execution of all commercial agreements including vendor contracts, partnership agreements, client MSAs, NDAs and employment contracts

- Review and advise on legal risks across all business deals and commercial arrangements

- Maintain and manage a comprehensive contract repository and renewal tracker

Compliance & Regulatory Management :

- Oversee all statutory and regulatory compliance requirements across the organization

- Liaise with regulatory authorities, government bodies and external counsel on compliance matters

- Stay updated on changes in legislation and proactively advise leadership on legal implications

Litigation & Dispute Management :

- Own end-to-end litigation management including coordination with external legal counsel

- Review existing legal cases and drive resolution strategies

- Draft and review notices, claims, petitions, replies and other legal documents

Risk Management & Advisory :

- Identify and mitigate legal risks across business functions

- Provide proactive legal advisory to leadership on complex business decisions

- Apply effective risk management frameworks to protect organizational interests

Intellectual Property :

- Oversee trademark, copyright and IP filings with assistance from third-party counsel

- Protect company's intellectual property assets across all business verticals

Stakeholder & External Party Management :

- Build and maintain relationships with external legal counsel, regulatory authorities and public bodies

- Handle complex matters involving multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams

- Represent the organization in legal proceedings and negotiations where required

Who We're Looking For :

Education : LLB from a reputed law university - National Law University or Delhi University preferred; CS is an added advantage

Experience : 8-9 years of post-qualification experience in corporate/commercial law

Background : Prior experience in logistics, mobility, EV or high-growth startup environment strongly preferred

Skills : Strong drafting, negotiation and communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Mindset : Proactive, business-oriented legal professional who can balance legal risk with business pragmatism
