Role Overview:
The CFO will lead the organization's financial strategy, driving growth, support business expansion while maintaining strong financial controls and risks management.
Key Responsibility Areas:
1. Stakeholder Management:
- Engage with lenders, equity investors and investment bankers for financial planning and reporting.
- Lead debt financing and equity fundraising activities.
- Manage routine banking operations/coordination.
2. Strategy and Business Planning:
- Evaluating opportunities for strategic investments (both domestic & cross border)
- Mergers and acquisitions (both domestic & cross border)
- Evaluate due diligence reports
- Negotiate shareholders' agreement, share purchase agreement etc., with respect to 3. M&A and strategic investments
- Core member of the business strategy team
4. Accounting & Audit:
- Oversee finalization of accounts and ensure compliance with IND-AS and regulatory requirements.
- Lead audit process with top tier audit firms, ensuring timely closure of audit process.
- Prepare and consolidate financial statements of entities in India & overseas.
5. Taxation & Compliance:
- Oversee compliance with Income Tax, GST, Corporate Laws, and IND-AS regulations.
- Oversee tax audits, assessments, and regulatory filings.
6. Reporting & MIS:
- Review presentations and reports for board of directors, lenders and investors.
- Finalize budget and business plan
- Strong proficiency in Excel (XLS) and PowerPoint (PPT) for financial reporting & analysis. Candidates with Power BI/Tableau skills will be preferred.
Ideal candidate will have:
- 15-18 years' experience
- CA (Mandatory)
- MBA Finance / CFA will be an add on
- Excellent people management and communication skills
- Prior experience in handling due diligence processes
- Experience of dealing with credit rating agencies
- Understanding of company / business valuation methodologies
- Incumbent must be based in Gurgaon or willing to relocate to Gurgaon
Who should apply?
CFO for a minimum of 2 years or Deputy CFO for a minimum period of 3 years within the services industry.
