What Were Looking For
General Ledger Management:
- Maintain and oversee the general ledger to ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
- Review and reconcile general ledger accounts on a regular basis.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
- Coordinate with external auditors (Big Four firms) to facilitate annual audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Audit Coordination:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors.
- Prepare audit schedules and documentation to support the audit process.
- Address audit findings and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Special Projects:
- Analyze and evaluate business activities to identify potential intangible assets under IND AS 38.
- Ensure the accurate recognition and measurement of intangible assets such as software, R&D costs, brands, patents, and goodwill.
- Assist in the capitalization of development costs and amortization planning.
- Perform periodic impairment testing of intangible assets.
- Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for all intangible assets.
- Prepare disclosures and financial statements in compliance with IND AS 38.
- Implementation of RCM across processes, ensuring monthly adherence of it and getting it audited on periodic basis. Enhancements of the existing RCM on quarterly basis.
What Were Looking For
- CA with 8-10 years of experience in preparing financials & digital transformations.
Preferred:
- Experience working in Big 4 or large corporate finance teams.
- Exposure to global accounting standards like IFRS (IAS 38) will be a plus.
- Experience in handling IP/intangible asset-heavy industries like IT, pharma, or media.
