Role Overview

We are looking for a Data Analyst with a strong focus on Automation, Data Pipelines, and Process Optimization. The ideal candidate should enjoy reducing manual effort, building scalable automated systems, and ensuring seamless data flow for dashboards and business decisions. Dashboarding will be part of the role, but automation and pipeline building will be the primary focus.

Key Responsibilities

Automation & Data Engineering (Primary Focus)

- Design, develop, and maintain automated data pipelines using Python and SQL.

- Build and manage ETL / ELT workflows for multiple data sources.

- Automate recurring reports, alerts, and validation checks.

- Identify manual processes and convert them into scalable automated solutions.

- Optimize data processing time and improve efficiency across systems.

- Integrate APIs and third-party tools into automated workflows.

- Implement logging, monitoring, and error-handling in pipelines.

- Schedule workflows using tools like Airflow, Cron, Prefect, or similar.

Dashboarding & Visualization (Secondary Focus)

- Create and maintain dashboards using Tableau / Power BI / Looker Studio.

- Ensure dashboards are connected to reliable automated data sources.

- Improve dashboard performance and usability.

Data Analysis

- Analyze large datasets to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.

- Provide automated insight generation wherever possible.

- Maintain high data accuracy and governance standards.

Collaboration

- Work with Product, Marketing, and Tech teams to identify automation opportunities.

- Present technical findings in simple, business-friendly language.

Required Qualifications

- 2+ years of experience in Data Analytics / Automation / Data Engineering roles.

- Strong proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, scripting, automation libraries).

- Advanced SQL skills including query optimization and transformations.

- Hands-on experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.

- Experience with BI tools Tableau, Power BI, or Looker Studio.

- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

- Experience with AWS / GCP / Azure.

- Knowledge of BigQuery / Snowflake / Redshift or similar warehouses.

- Basic understanding of Machine Learning workflows.

- Experience working with APIs and webhooks.

- Exposure to product or operations analytics.
