
Purpose of the role: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to lead Leadership Hiring for the Bank. The role involves designing and executing recruitment strategies for senior and critical leadership roles, ensuring a high-quality talent pipeline, and driving excellence in candidate and stakeholder experience. You will partner closely with Business (at CXO and CXO-1 level) and HR leaders to meet organizational growth and transformation objectives.
Responsibilities:
Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement an end-to-end leadership hiring strategy aligned with business priorities and future talent needs.
- Build market mapping for proactive external succession planning for CXO, CXO-1, and other critical leadership roles.
Policies, Processes & Procedures:
- Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and compliance with banking regulations and data privacy norms.
- Monitor and drive turnaround times (TATs) for leadership mandates.
- Maintain hiring quality metrics and conduct regular post-hire reviews with stakeholders.
Stakeholder & Business Partnering:
- Act as a trusted advisor to CXOs, business heads, and senior HR leaders.
- Conduct detailed talent landscape studies and market mapping for niche leadership positions.
- Influence decision-making with market insights and talent analytics.
Sourcing & Assessment Excellence:
- Leverage multiple sourcing channels executive search partners, industry networks, leadership forums, professional associations, and direct headhunting.
- Implement robust assessment processes, including competency-based interviews, psychometric tools, and leadership capability frameworks.
- Drive diversity-focused leadership hiring programs.
Employer Branding & Talent Engagement:
- Represent the bank at senior industry forums, conferences, and leadership summits.
- Build a compelling employer value proposition (EVP) for senior talent.
- Engage passive leadership talent through long-term relationship building.
People Management:
- Lead and manage a team of 3-4 individuals to ensure hiring for leadership roles is executed with high efficiency and enhanced stakeholder experience
Qualifications:
- Graduate or relevant degree in Human Resource; MBA / PGDM in HR or equivalent from a reputed institute will be preferred
- 8-10 years in talent acquisition, with at least 5 years in leadership hiring in in BFSI or executive search
- Strong executive search and headhunting expertise
- Strong market intelligence and talent mapping skills.
- Candidate tracking and engagement
- Proven stakeholder management and influencing skills with senior leadership.
- Ability to work with high confidentiality and discretion
