About the Role:

Xiaomi India is seeking a creative, data-driven, and experienced Assistant Manager social media to lead our social media strategy, drive unique storytelling and engagement, and strengthen our brand presence across India. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of digital platforms, consumer behaviour, and social trends, with a proven track record of managing large-scale social campaigns for prominent brands.

Key Responsibilities:

- Build Xiaomi's brand preference amongst Gen Z audience by establishing our technological superiority, as well as focusing on consumer passion to build meaningful connections.

- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy tailored to each platform.

- Drive brand storytelling, product launches, and campaigns tailored to different consumer segments.

- Leverage insights to refine and evolve the social media strategy.

- Lead content planning and calendar management, ensuring a mix of product-led, brand-led, and community-driven content.

- Collaborate with the creative team to design content that resonates with the target audience.

- Track and analyze the performance of social campaigns, leveraging data to optimize content and strategy.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, brand, and growth marketing, to align social media efforts with overall business goals

- Monitor, respond to, and engage with followers to foster a strong online community.

Qualifications:

- 5-6 years of hands-on experience in managing social media for well-known brands or agencies.

- Strong understanding of social media metrics, tools, and best practices.

- Exceptional communication, storytelling, and copywriting skills.

- Experience in handling product or brand campaigns at scale.

- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

- Familiarity with performance marketing and digital advertising is a plus.

- Experience working in the technology or consumer electronics sector (not mandatory)
