Role Purpose:

To lead XED's Program Design & Strategy function by conceptualizing, designing, and continuously evolving executive education solutions that address market needs, support business growth, and deliver exceptional learner experiences. The role is responsible for translating client and market insights into commercially viable learning solutions while driving innovation, academic excellence, and cross-functional collaboration across enterprise and public programs.

Detailed Responsibilities:

1. Enterprise Learning Strategy & Solution Design:

- Lead the design of executive education programs for corporate learning engagements.

- Partner with Enterprise Sales teams to understand client capability requirements and business objectives.

- Design leadership development, digital transformation, AI, strategy, innovation, and functional capability-building programs.

- Develop learning journeys, curriculum frameworks, assessment methodologies, and program architectures.

- Ensure learning solutions align with XED's academic standards and business objectives.

2. B2C Portfolio Strategy & Development:

- Define and drive the roadmap for executive education portfolios across global university partnerships.

- Identify emerging market opportunities and launch new programs aligned with executive learning trends.

- Review portfolio performance and recommend program enhancements, repositioning, or sunset decisions.

- Ensure programs remain competitive, differentiated, and commercially viable.

3. Program Design & Learning Excellence:

- Establish best practices for executive education design and adult learning methodologies.

- Create learning journeys integrating faculty-led learning, simulations, projects, coaching, assessments, and immersive experiences.

- Drive learner-centric program innovation and measurable learning outcomes.

- Ensure consistency and quality across all learning interventions.

4. Learning Effectiveness & Evaluation:

- Evaluate and implement emerging learning technologies and AI-enabled learning experiences.

- Drive innovation in simulations, assessments, coaching, adaptive learning, and experiential learning.

- Partner with Product and Technology teams to develop scalable learning solutions.

- Build organizational capability around future-focused learning methodologies.

5. Faculty & University Collaboration:

- Work closely with faculty, subject matter experts, and university partners to develop and enhance programs.

- Facilitate content alignment between client requirements and academic standards.

- Manage faculty engagement for strategic and high-impact programs.

6. Cross-Functional Leadership:

- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Program Delivery, Product, and Partnerships teams.

- Ensure smooth transition from solution design to program execution.

- Establish governance, quality standards, and review mechanisms for program development.

7. Team Leadership:

- Build and lead a high-performing Program Design team.

- Mentor instructional designers, learning consultants, and program architects.

- Drive capability building and knowledge sharing across the function.

Educational Qualification:

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (mandatory).

- Master's degree (MBA/PGDM or equivalent) in Business, Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related field (preferred).

- Relevant certifications in Learning Design, Executive Education, Design Thinking, AI in Learning, or Project Management will be an added advantage.

Experience:

- 10 - 15 years of experience in Executive Education, Learning & Development, Program Design, Learning Consulting or a related field.

- Proven experience in executive education, enterprise learning solutioning and curriculum design.

- Strong exposure to portfolio strategy, faculty engagement and academic partnerships.

- Demonstrated success in leading high-performing teams and driving strategic business outcomes.

- Experience in executive education, higher education, consulting or corporate learning organizations will be preferred.
