The Head Steel / Pipe Plant Projects

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning & Execution:

- Lead the execution of pipe manufacturing projects, ensuring adherence to established plans and schedules.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.

2. Budget & Resource Management:

- Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources.

- Monitor project expenditures and implement cost-control measures.

- Allocate resources effectively to meet project objectives and timelines.

3. Quality Assurance & Compliance:

- Ensure all projects comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and quality benchmarks.

- Implement quality control processes to maintain high standards in pipe production.

- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance.

4. Team Leadership & Development:

- Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

- Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.

- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.

5. Stakeholder Management:

- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project alignment and address concerns.

- Prepare and present regular project updates to senior management.

- Manage relationships with contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.

6. Risk Management:

- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.

- Monitor and address issues that may impact project timelines or quality.

- Ensure contingency plans are in place for unforeseen challenges.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Education: Bachelors degree in Civil. A Masters degree or relevant certifications is

advantageous.

- Experience: Minimum of 20+ years in pipe manufacturing or related industries, with at least 5 years in a senior project management role.

Skills:

- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- In-depth knowledge of pipe manufacturing processes and materials.

- Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Preferred Attributes:

- Experience in managing large-scale pipe manufacturing projects.

- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant certifications.

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
